Modern day education aims at developing the all-round personality of oneself and not just one’s mental capacity. Keeping in mind, the activities are conducted to help the students’ to realise their potential so as to capitalise them as successful future citizens of the nation. In keeping with the current views on education, the college conducts various co-curricular activities to develop the students’ personality.

The Byramjee Jeejeebhoy College of Commerce offers a wide scope of activities viz, Social, Cultural and Sporting events. Our students’ regularly win and attain high rankings in the inter-collegiate competitions and tournaments. We compete with several top commerce colleges of Mumbaiand win numerous accolades. We are proud to state that The BJCC is adjudged the ‘Best College’ for many inter-collegiate events. We not only emphasise on development of mental capacity, but also see to the development of the students’ personality viz, Head, Hand and Heart through various activities.

We not only satisfy ourselves by participating at various inter-collegiate activities but also are proud to state that we organize inter-collegiate competitions under the title of “Persianna” wherein most of the elite colleges of South Mumbai actively participate in about 36 events. This is done with a view to provide a platform for the students’ to develop inter-personal relationship with the co-students from different colleges to promote human resource and understanding.
